The existence of St. Joseph’s College, Bangalore can be traced back to 1882, when father of the French Foreign Mission realized the need of an educational institute that would cater to the needs of the students. The college has been accredited by NAAC and is affiliated to the Bangalore University.

The institute is one of the oldest higher educational institutes in Bangalore dealing with study of Arts, Commerce and Science. The courses that are offered by the institute are as follow:
