Mount Carmel College, Bangalore is a women college, which was established 1948. It is situated in Vasanth Nagar of Bangalore, Karnataka, India. The college is 'A+' accredited by NAAC and also, was accorded with Five Stars by NAAC. This college has courses for undergraduates as well as for postgraduates. This college is considered as one of the best colleges of India for the study of Arts, Commerce and Science stream. Initially, it was affiliated to Mysore University later it was brought into affiliation with Bangalore University.
Currently, the college is maintained and regulated by the Congregation of the Carmelite Sisters of Sr. Teresa of St. Rose of Lima. The institute offers three years full time undergraduate courses like B.Com, B.A, B.Sc, BBM and BMTT (Business Management in Travel & Tourism). It also imparts Master level courses in Arts, Science and Commerce.
