Sri Guru Ram Das Institute of Dental Sciences was set up in the year 1992 by a renowned trust in Punjab namely, Sri Guru Ram Das Charitable Hospital Trust. Sri Guru Ram Das Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Amritsar is affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences and approved by Dental Council of India.

Sri Guru Ram Das Institute of Dental Sciences offers Bachelor of Dental Surgery, which is a five years full time program. The course also includes one year internship program, wherein the aspirants are trained for achieving some quality practical knowledge in the field of dentistry.

Facilities:

The main building of the college comprises of 6 floors. The land on which this institute is situated, measure 5 acres which was provided by Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee. The dental college features well maintained science laboratories, computer lab with high speed internet connectivity and a central library with a fine collection of books. There is a cafeteria within the campus. The college also offers separate hostel facility for boys and girls.
