School of Computer Sciences was established in the year 1994 encompasses three departments viz. Dept. of Computer Applications, Dept. of Computer Science, Dept. of Information Technology and UGC Computer Center and runs three courses under this departments M.C.A. and M.Sc. (Computer Science), M.Sc. (Information Technology). It aims to provide professional education in management and information technology in line with changing industry needs.

Advertisement is published in some leading newspapers or on http://dte.org.in in the month of May/June every year. The prescribed application forms are available at the office of the department. Admission is allotted on the basis of the merit/marks at the graduation examination.
At least 50% marks at graduation (45% marks for Backward class i.e. SC/ST/DT/NTOBC category candidates from Maharashtra State). In case of other university candidate, Preference will be given to students having principal subject at B.Sc. over B.Sc. General.
