School of Communication and Management Studies (SCMS) is one of the leading management schools in Kerala, established in the year 1976 by Prathap Foundation for Education & Training. The institute is known for imparting excellent job oriented Program to those students who want to enter into the field of Business Management and media industry. In short span of time, SCMS has become the core point for management education among higher degree students in the state of Kerala. The college has been certified with ISI 9001:2000 certificate.

The institute offers full time two years Post Graduate Diploma courses in Management with special focus on the various branches such as Human Resource, Finance, Retailing, Insurance and Banking. It also imparts two years Post Graduate Diploma in Mass communication. All the courses are approved by A.I.C.T.E (Govt. of India).


Admissions:

FULL TIME students have to pay a sum of Rs.85,000/- per trimester as tuition fee. This is to be remitted by the students at the beginning of each Trimester or when notified. All items of fee prescribed in this prospectus here and elsewhere are to be paid at the beginning of every trimester irrespective of the time spent away from the campus on project or on some other assignments.

Selection Process :-
MAT by AIMA, ATMA by AIMS, XAT by XLRI and CAT by IIMs: A score of 50% or above is the minimum eligibility for admission.

School of Communication and Management Studies (SCMS) is located at Ernakulum in Cochin in Kerala. The campus is sprawled over a huge area that has many buildings and block. The infrastructure of the college has been well accorded with all the modern facilities. It has a big library that hosts over 21000 volumes of books on management and its allied branches. the college subscribes to about 220 leading national and international business and management journals including Harvard Business Review, Business Week, Journal of Marketing and many more. The institute also offers separate hostel facility for boys and girls.
