Established in the year 1985, The Sarah Tucker College is the first college for women in south India. The college offers eleven undergraduate programmes, six postgraduate programmes, two M.Philprogrammes and five Ph. D research programmes in the aided stream, with more than 3,300 students on its rolls. It is now a first grade college accredited with 'A' Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) of India.
