Promoted in the year 1999, Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Pharmacy, Akurdi aims to spread Pharmacy education to deserving students and thereby render social services. The College is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi, Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) New Delhi, recognized by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra State and is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. Currently, it offers under graduate course (B. Pharm.) which is accredited by NBA and post graduate courses (M. Pharm.) in Pharmaceutics & Quality Assurance Techniques.
