Padmashree Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research has been accredited by National Board of Accreditation, AICTE, New Delhi & Affiliated to University of Pune.
Founded in the year 1990, it aims to impart high quality technical education and training that enables students to acquire in depth knowledge and expertise in the field of pharmaceutical sciences to cater the needs of pharmacy profession and society at large.
To be eligible for First Year Degree Course in Pharmacy (B. Pharm) admission, the candidate should:
• Have Indian National
• Have Passed the HSC (Std. XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology.
• Have Secured minimum 45% marks (40% for backward class and Physically Handicapped candidates from Maharashtra) in the Subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology.
• Have Non zero score in MHT- CET
The institute provides all modern facilities that would help students to gain interest and would study with high concentration to achieve their goals. The facilities include hostels, workshop, laboratory, library, sports complex, computers, cafeteria, etc.
The Institute has established a separate Training, Placement and Career guidance Cell headed by Training and Placement Officer and Training and Placement In-charge of Professor and Assistant Professor Grade, respectively.
