  • IIM Shillong offers  Post-Graduate Programme in Management [PGP]. This is a two-year full time residential programme for graduate students from all disciplines who aspire to choose a career in management. This is a flagship program of the institute with an annual intake capacity of 60 in the first two years. Foreign candidates are admitted into this Post Graduate Diploma Programme in Management.

    Eligibility:-

    The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently Abled (DA) category. (It may also be referred to as Persons with Disability (PWD) category), awarded by any of the universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India

    Selection Procedure:-

    The selection of candidates for admission to PGP at IIM Shillong (IIMS) is a two-phase process:

    Phase 1:-

    In the first phase, candidates are short-listed for Personal Interview (PI) from candidates who have a valid CAT /GMAT score and have applied for the programme and who also satisfy the eligibility criteria for this programme.

    In the second phase of the process, personal interviews of all candidates short-listed in the first phase will be carried out. Candidates will be offered admission to PGP at IIM Shillong on the merit list based on performance in the personal interviews and CAT performance.
