Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Shillong is an autonomous business school located in Meghalaya. It is the seventh IIM established by the government of India in the year 2008.

It has been set up with a vision of expansion and mobilization of facilities for offering good quality management education and research in the North Eastern region of India.& It offers various management programmes and is ranked 8th best business school by Business World.

Admissions:
Institute offers various management programmes, whose admissions are based on different entrance exams and eligibility criteria.
Applicants willing to seek admission in the IIM Shillong can register through online or offline process. Application forms will be available on the official website of the institute.
Institute accepts valid scores of CAT/ GMAT entrance exam for various programs. Along with the valid scores, candidate must be graduated in any discipline with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved category) from any recognized university or those appearing for the final year can also apply.
Final selection will be completely done on the merit basis and will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

The institute is currently functioning from a temporary campus in the Mayurbhanj Complex which showcases a calm environment where the students can concentrate in their regular activities. The campus comprises of main building, auditorium, guest house, syndicate rooms and students dormitories. The facilities that are provided to the students in the institute campus are aesthetically designed class rooms with high tech infrastructure to help participants in their learning process, modern Knowledge Resource Centre with interdisciplinary focus, state of art IT infrastructure with latest equipments, gymnasium, medical centre, etc.
