Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ranchi is the ninth IIM to establish in the year 2010. It is an autonomous institution under Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India and is free to design its own curriculum and recruit faculty members.

The programmes offered are post graduate programmes at a level equivalent to MBA and PhD and include a standard post graduate diploma in management (PGDM), human resource management (PGDHRM), a full-time doctoral programme (FPM) and a part-time executive program (PGEXP). It has an intake of 120 students in PGDM programme.

Admissions:
Institute offers various management programmes, whose admissions are based on different entrance exams and eligibility criteria.
Applicants willing to seek admission in the IIM Ranchi can register through online or offline process. Application forms will be available on the official website of the institute.
Application fees is Rs. 1000/- for general/ OBC (Rs. 500/- for reserved category)
Institute accepts valid scores of CAT/ GMAT entrance exam for various programs. Along with the valid scores, candidate must be graduated in any discipline with minimum 60% marks from any recognized university or those appearing for the final year can also apply.
Final selection will be completely done on the merit basis and will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
 


Facilities:

Ranchi is one of the few institutes which have fully Wi-Fi enabled campus. The academic block consists of two aesthetically designed classrooms equipped with all the required modern facilities. The entire academic block is equipped with Wi-Fi internet connectivity. It also has facilities such as separate hostels for girls and boys, State-of-the- art IT infrastructure, spacious libraries, auditorium, amphitheatre, etc.

Some of the prominent recruiters are HSBC, JP Morgan Chase, HT Media, ICICI, KPMG, Maruti, Yes Bank, Pidilite and TATA Steel offering varied profiles to candidates like Investment Banking Research, Corporate Banking, IT consultant, Retail Product Banking, Product Development etc.
Average salary offered is 12.4 L p.a. and highest salary offered is 19 L p.a.
