Goa College of Architecture is a higher educational institute that was established in the year 1982 by the Government of Goa. It is affiliated to Goa University of Mumbai and is approved by the Council of Architecture.

The college imparts under graduate as well as post graduate level programs in the field of architecture.


Admissions:

Admissions to Degree course in Architecture shall be on the basis of NATA as per details given under eligibility.

All candidates desirous of seeking admissions to Degree Courses in Architecture must appear and have a valid score in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA), conducted online by Council of Architecture, and should fulfil other eligibility criteria for admission as given in this prospectus. Details of the test and centres are available on website of Council of Architecture. (www. coa-india.org or www.nata.in).

Only those applicants who have applied in response to prospectus and submitted their applications, duly completed in all respects, at the Directorate of Technical Education,Porvorim, Goa and other notified locations, on or before the prescribed date and time, and have valid score in GCET (NATA in case of Architecture) and satisfy the eligibility criteria laid down, will be considered for admission to professional courses.

All the applicants selected for admission to Architecture courses shall be given provisional admission, subject to being found medically fit. The admission of the applicant stands cancelled in case he/she is found medically unfit.

GOI seats are reserved and allotted by Ministry of Human Resources Development, Govt. of India, for other States/Union Territories in the institutes of Goa in Architecture,over and above sanctioned intake capacity. These supernumerary seats shall not be available to local candidates even if they remain vacant

GOI candidates for admission to Architecture Course shall have to pass NATA.
 

NATIONALITY :

Admission to professional courses in State of Goa is open to Indian nationals fulfilling the eligibility criteria under various categories. Non-resident Indians holding Indian passport may also apply for seats reserved under NRI category. Foreign Nationals and Persons of Indian Origin holding non-Indian passport must apply to Govt. of India.

AGE :

No age limit, minimum or maximum, is specified for admission to Architecture.

The institute is located in the capital of Goa i.e. Panaji. The institute is well equipped with all the modern facilities. It has well maintained book library, computer lab with high speed internet connectivity. All the science labs are highly maintained and have been equipped with modern machineries and equipments.
