GSS Institute of Technology (GSSIT) is a private co-educational engineering college approved by the All India Council of Technical Education and affiliated to Visweswaraiah Technological University. It was established in the year 2004 and managed by H.R Charitable Trust.
GSSIT is a technical institute offering undergraduate and post-graduate programmes in several streams of Engineering, IT and Management. It has over 1,500 students.
Candidates who wish to take admission in the college can enroll their name through offline process. Prospectus cum application form will be available at the college office.
Admission to college will be done on the basis of valid scores of the entrance test conducted at national level or state level for engineering courses. College accepts scores of JEE and CET.
Final selection depends on the personal interview taken by the college. List of selected students will be displayed on the notice board of the college.

The College has a separate Training and Placement Cell, under Training and Placement Officer. The cell also comprises of a group of students of final year. The cell also acts as a coordinator for the Industrial Training and Placement of pre-final and final year students.
It also guides and helps the final year students in securing jobs commensurate with their knowledge and achievements, by organizing campus interviews and exploring various avenues for their placement.
