Founded in the year 2005, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Women’s Institute of Technology is an Engineering College exclusively for girls offering degree level courses in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science & Engineering (CS) and Post graduate course in Computer Application (MCA). It is only of its kind in North-East India which is started with an aim to inculcate moral values and citizenship behavior in students and to provide quality education for better employability and understanding of global world in curriculum design. College is affiliated with Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga and approved by AICTE, New Delhi.

Application form & Prospectus may be downloaded from the official website of APJAKWIT. Duly filled application form along with photocopies of all the relevant documents and demand draft of Rs. 1000/- only from any nationalized bank drawn in favour of WIT, L.N.M.U., Payable at Darbhanga, must be submitted in person/ by post to the office of APJAKWIT, Darbhanga within deadline.
Admission is done strictly on the merit basis.
