Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kumaun University is started with a vision to optimize health of all members of society through the promotion of quality education in the field of disease management through pharmaceutical care. The department is offering Post graduate courses in four disciplines, Ph. D in various pharmaceutical domains. The B. Pharm and M. Pharm courses are approved by All India Council for Technical Education.
 

Admissions:

B Pharm: A joint entrance examination is conducted by the Uttarakhand Technical University and the students are admitted through counseling as per their order of merit in the entrance exam.
 
M Pharm: The students are admitted through the counseling as per their order of merit in the qualifying exam (B. Pharm) or as decided by Kumaun University from time to time.
 
PhD: Scholars for the doctorate programme in Pharmacy would be admitted as per provisions of the university through an entrance examination conducted by the Directorate of Research & Extension.
