College of Dental Sciences Davangere is a private dental college that was established in the year 1991 by Bapuji Educational Association. Since then, the college has contributed a lot in the field of dentistry by generating large numbers of well qualified dentists. The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and is accredited to the Dental Council of India (DCI).
College of Dental Sciences Davangere offers under graduate course of BDS, which is five years full time course. The course also includes internship program for the duration of one year. The college also stresses on post graduate course of MDS. MDS is a three years full time course.
Admission To Bachelor Of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.)
There are 100 seats for the undergraduate course (B.D.S.) in College of Dental Sciences. The seat distribution is as follows:
Merit seats: 35 (Admission through C.E.T.)
Merit Payment seats: 45 (For Admission through COMED K)
Management seats: 20 (including NRIs and Management )
Admission To Master Of Dental Surgery (M.D.S.)
A candidate interested in taking admission to the M.D.S. Course (Master of Dental Surgery) should have passed B.D.S. course from a Dental College recognised by the Dental Council of India and should have completed one year of Internship as on 31st of August of the respective year. In case of international students applying for M.D.S. course, their undergraduate degree and the University should be recognized by the Dental Council of India. The duration of the course is three years. The academic term for the M.D.S. courses will commence from 31st of May of every year. At present the M.D.S. Course offered by the college are in the following specialities:

The laboratories and clinics are spacious, well furnished and have state of the art equipments and gadgets, both indigenous and imported to facilitate an excellent environment that is conducive for learning & patient care.
