Bangalore Institute of Dental Sciences is one of the blooming institutes for dental education in India. It was set up in the year 1991 in order to cater the demand for superior dental care facilities in the country. Bangalore Institute of Dental Sciences offers Bachelor of Dental Surgery, which is a five years full time program. The course also includes one year internship program, wherein the aspirants are trained for achieving some quality practical knowledge in the field of dentistry. Every year, college accepts 60 students for the program of BDS.

The admission is done on the basis of the Entrance examination which is conducted by the college.
