Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) is the one, which offers quality education to those people who aspire to become a doctor in their future.Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) was founded by Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust in the year 1986. The college is known for not only providing Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses in the field of medicine but also for generating some highly qualified professionals in order to cater the needs for doctors in rural area. It is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and is recognized to Medical Council of India (MCI) and General Medical Council of UK.

The institute offers five years full time under graduate course of MBBS and Post Graduate programmes in different fields of Medical. Apart from this, it also offers three years full time course of Doctor of Medicine with special focus in Pediatrics, Radio-diagnosis, Anesthesiology and Community Medicine.


Admissions:

The criteria for admissions are in accordance with the rules of RGUHS and regulations of MCI, New Delhi. The number of admissions is monitored by Govt. of Karnataka through entrance test and Govt. Orders issued from time to time.

The college has a beautiful campus with a sprawling area of 200 acres. It is just 107 km away from the capital city of Karnataka i.e. Bangalore. The institute is well equipped with all the modern facilities. It has well maintained book library, computer lab with high speed internet connectivity. All the science labs are highly maintained and have been equipped with modern machineries and equipments. The institute also offers separate hostel facility for boys and girls.
