In the year 2000, Aalim Muhammed Salegh Trust established an engineering college in Chennai, namely, Aalim Mohammed Salegh College of Engineering. The college is considered to be one of the best engineering institutes in the state of Tamil Nadu that offers excellent job oriented technical courses. It is located near Avadi district in Chennai.  

The college offers a wide variety of undergraduate technical courses such as Civil engineering, Computer Science and engineering, Electrical engineering, Electronics and communication engineering, Information technology and Mechanical engineering. The intake capacity for the students in each course is 60 with the duration of four years. Aalim Mohammed Salegh College of Engineering has also been endowed with Master programmes such as MBA and MCA.

The admission to the institute is based on the entrance examination which is conducted by the college.
