A J College of Pharmacy is a one of the prominent self financing Pharmacy institutes in Kerala that was founded by Abdul Razak Memorial Charitable trust in the year 1996. It is one of the best projects of ARMCT that is located in the capital city of Kerala i.e. Trivandrum, near Mahakavi Kumaranasan Smarakam, Thonnakkal.

The institute offers Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) to those people who desire to make their career in Pharmaceutical professions. The course duration is 2 years that comprises of part 1 and part 2. Both the parts contain theory as well as Practical sessions. The candidates are eligible to get admission only if he/she has passed their 12th STD from any recognized Indian Universities with the following subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology.


Admissions:

Eligibility for Admission :-

Candidate who have passed the Pre Degree Examinations / +2 Examinations from any recognized Indian Universities with any of the following subjects as main or optional- Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics

Or

Candidate who passed any undergraduate programmes recognized by the Universities of Kerala, Pharmacy Council of India / AICTE.

VHSC with non-vocational subjects like- Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics (i.e. Group A & B) are also eligible.



Facilities:

The institute offers well maintained and highly designed laboratories, library, class rooms and spacious rooms for extracurricular activities. The most striking feature of the college is that it has a Medicinal garden, where a wide range of medicinal plants are cultivated. It also provides separate hostel facility for both boys and girls.
