Jammu University MA Sociology



MA Sociology Programme offered by the Jammu University is a two years (four semester) programme. There are 25 seats in the programme. 
 
Eligibility -  
 
A candidate seeking admission to the programme must have passed/appeared in the qualifying examination with Sociology as one of the core subjects in the qualifying examination.
 
However, a candidate who has passed / appeared in B.A (other than Sociology as Core subject) / B.Com/ B.B.A./ B.Sc./ B.Sc. Agriculture/ B.Sc. Home Science/ L.L.B (Professional) etc. Examination securing a minimum of 60% of the aggregate marks shall be eligible under Second Preference.
 
Admission will be done on the basis of Jammu University Entrance Test (JUET).
