North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) is a central university functioning in the suburb of Shillong in the state capital of Meghalaya. Recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) as University with Potential for Excellence this university is known for its consistent academic ranking. NEHU has two academic campuses, one at Mawkynroh-Umshing, Shillong, and another at Chandmari, Tura. Shillong is the headquarters of academic and administrative functions. This university offers graduate and post graduate courses of study in faculties of physical sciences, social sciences, life sciences, humanities, education, technology, economics, management and information sciences. NEHU's central library is known for its collection of over 230,000 books, 38,000 bound periodicals and it subscribes to foreign and indian journals. The training and placement cell of this university provides aspirants with training and placement opportunties. Application forms can be collected from the  university campus in person at the payment of Rs. 220 and Rs. 600/-(for General category of students for MFA and MCA) through University Challan/Banker’s Cheque/Bank Draft drawn in favour of “North Eastern Hill University”.

 

The application form/Prospectus fee is not refundable. The admission form may also be downloaded from the official website and filled in application form along with the Demand Draft of the amount can be sent to the Head of respective department.
