The renowned Karnataka Samskrit University is located in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Sanskrit is our traditional language and its contribution to the prose and poetry cannot be described in words. This university is basically established for the development of this beautiful Sanskrit language. The university is set up with the mission to promote the traditional system of education and learning through the special emphasis. Another mission of the university is to work as the high – level teaching institution in the Sanskrit language. At present, the Karnataka Samskrit University includes almost 10 aided and 9 unaided affiliated colleges and two constituent Sanskrit colleges.

The Karnataka Samskrit University was set up in the year 2010 by the efforts of the government of Karnataka. The campus of the university is mainly located in the Karnataka which is the land of numerous Sanskrit colleges. The university is spread over 100 acres of land. The university offers the pleasant environment to the student which is perfect for the study purpose. The Karnataka Samskrit University has mainly four wings which are namely administrative wing, research wing, publication wing and teaching wing. The university is engaged in fostering the traditional system in Vedic and cognate literature.

The university is engaged in offering the high – quality education in the Sanskrit language. Admission in this renowned university is not an easy deal. The admission procedure is followed by the Karnataka Samskrit University while enrolling the students in the offered courses. The university follows different admission procedure for the admission in different courses.
 
For the M.Phill Courses:
 
The university organizes an entrance examination for the admission in the M.Phill courses. This is the written entrance examination and the question paper is only in the Sanskrit. It is only organized at the Bengaluru campus. The entrance examination is of 100 marks in total. The only qualified candidates will be admitted to the offered course.
 
Latest Notifications:
 
The official authority has released the latest notifications regarding the admissions for the eligible candidates. Applications are invited for the enrollment to the offered M.Phill courses. The end date to submit the application form is 16.07.2016. The entrance examination for the M.Phill courses is scheduled on 29.07.2016. The list of the selected candidates will be released on 10.08.2016 (as per official schedule).
