Dr NTR University of Health Sciences  formerly known as Andhra Pradesh University of Health Sciences is a UGC recognized public university in India. Striving  forward with the objective of improving medical education in the state, Dr NTR university has truly established itself as a center for excellence in medical science. At present there are 348 colleges affiliated to the university and this institution is rapidly expanding its services in various faculties ie. super speciality in mordern medicine and post graduate courses in other faculties of study. This university offers under-graduate and post-graduate courses namely in modern medicine, ancient Indian systems of medicine, allied health sciences like dentistry, physiotherapy, nursing, paramedical sciences and veterinary sciences.
