All applications for undergraduate study at the University of Nottingham is to be made thorough Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) . This application is common for national and international students.

Your UCAS application will ask you for a campus code. You will only need to complete this if your course is available at more than one campus (nursing, for example).

The University of Nottingham Nottingham Post Graduate Admission:-

To apply for the University of Nottingham Nottingham Post Graduate Admission you will need to meet both general and course specific requirements.

To apply for the course of your choice you must complete a Postgraduate application form, either in hard copy or online at: https://pgapps.nottingham.ac.uk

You should supply a copy of your degree certificate together with a final or latest transcript of your degree course and English language test result, if required (see below). If you have not yet completed your course, please supply a list of modules you are studying in your final year. Your application should be supported by one academic references (wherever possible).

The fee for online application is £ 25 and for hard copy of application is £ 30. There is no application fee for alumni or registered students of Nottingham university.

An IELTS score of at least 7.0 with a minimum score of 6.0 in each of the four elements of the test.

University of Nottingham Infrastructure


The University of Nottingham Infrastructure:-

The University of Nottingham is divided into several campuses based in the United Kindgom. The university also has  two international campuses in Malaysia and China.

a) University Park Campus: The University Park Campus is often referred to as the historic home of University of Nottingham. Regarded as the greenest and the most attractive campus in the United Kingdom. All campuses at the university are modelled after this garden campus with 1/2 period housing or halls situated around a lake with extensive botanic. The only exceptions to this being Sutton Bonington campus, which predates the creation of University Park Campus.

b) Jubliee Campus: Jubliee campus designed by Sir Micheal Hopkins and inagurated by Queen Elizabeth-II  houses the Schools of Education and Computer Science, and The Nottingham University Business School. The site is also the home of The National College for School Leadership.

c) Other campuses of the University of Nottingham:

•Sutton Bonington Campus houses Nottingham's School of Biosciences and the new School of Veterinary Medicine and Science, this campus also includes a dairy center.
• Kings Meadwos Campus houses the adminstrative buildings of the university and has a functioning television studio that is rented for film and television shootings.
•At the south entrance to the main campus, in Highfields Park, lies the Lakeside Arts Centre, the University of Nottingham's public arts facility and performance space.
•The DH Lawerence Pavilion of the university is used for a number of cultural events.
•Other facilities include the Djanogly art gallery, recital hall, and theatre, which in the past have hosted recordings and broadcasting by BBC Radio 3, the NOTT Dance and NOW festivals, and a series of contemporary art exhibitions.

The University of Nottingham boasts of 13 libraries across its UK and international campuses. Together they provide access to over one million books and journals and more than three million manuscripts. We also have more than 12,000 e-journal titles and 650,000 ebook items.

d) International Campuses:

The Malayasia Campus of the University of Nottingham is the first british university campus in Malaysia and the first anywhere in the world. It is situated in  Semenyih, Selangor, Malaysia, a short distance from Kuala Lumpur. The second campus opened in 2004 is at
Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, China. Both these campuses are modelled on University Park Campus.

The University of Nottingham faculty both past and present consists of academicians, subject scholars, researchers and persons of repute the world over.

The University of Nottingham Student Life and Activities:

The University of Nottingham Students' Union is heavily involved with providing student activities at the university and has more than 190 student societies affiliated to it. There are 76 clubs that are affiliated to the Students Athletic Union of the university. Nottingham participates every year in the Varsity series.  The Student magazine "Impact is published regularly during term time. The Union boasts the largest student-run RAG organisation outside of the US, 'Karnival' (abbreviated to "Karni"). The university radio is URN/Students Radio for Nottingham.

Another distinctive feature of The University of Nottingham Nottingham Student Life and Activities is Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE).

The university offers catered and self-catered halls in terms of accomodation for both students and faculty. While self-catered halls offers the independence of cooking, food expenses of catered halls is included in tuition fees.
