St. Augustine’s School (SAS), is a minority Christian school promoted in the year 1945 and administered by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Darjeeling. The school is under the religious jurisdiction of the Roman Catholic Bishop of Darjeeling who is also the president of the governing body.

SAS obtained affiliation from the Council for the Indian School Certificate Education (CISCE), New Delhi, in 1970 and is recognized by the De­partment of Education, Government of West Bengal. It is an all boys day-cum-boarding school headed by the principal, Father Lawrence Monteiro.
