KV No.2 Binnaguri was established in July 1980 with four classes from Class I to IV. Vidyalaya used to run in temporary sheds provided by management. It is situated in Binnaguri Cantonment of Jalpaiguri District. 
 
Vidyalaya is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi and aims to initiate and promote experimentation and innovativeness in education in collaboration with other bodies like the Central Board of Secondary Education and National Council of Educational Research and Training etc.
