Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, Udaipur, one of the most prestigious educational institutions of Udaipur, the city of Lakes. This centre of excellence which was first established in 1965 as a civil sector school is affiliated to CBSE.
It is a three-section school I to X and four-section school from XI to XII. The school has all the three streams - Science [two sections], Commerce and Humanities [one section each]. It has given many teachers, scientists, technocrats, doctors, engineers, and administrators who occupy enviable positions in all walks of life.
Admissions:
Admission form for any of the section will be available in the school office itself. Parents need to collect it between the registration dates decided by the school authority.
Forms should be duly filled and submitted along with the required documents before the last date of submission.
Admission is done on the basis of Interviews and written test.
Facilities:
The Vidyalaya has 50 well furnished class rooms with necessary electrical fittings and provision for various technology aided learning items. There are 3 computer labs in the Vidyalaya for different groups of students, highly equipped of impeccable and well maintained science labs namely the physics, chemistry and biology.
It has developed a Children's Park for the tiny tots of Primary Section. It is equipped with a Merry Go-Round, Ladder & Slide, Rainbow, swings; Jingle Jim, Jack & Jill, Revolving drum, Parallel bars, Balancing bar sea-saw etc.
