KV IOC Haldia is about  100 Km away from Kolkata. This Vidyalaya was established in the year 1986 under the noble guidance of Mr S. N. Sarkar, Executive Director, Haldia Refinery, IOC Haldia who was the first Chairman, VMC with Shri S. K. Rudrapaul -Principal of this Vidyalaya. Initially it was up to class-VI level. Now it is a full fledged school running with all three streams (Science, Humanities and Commerce) at plus 2 level under the guidance of Mr. L. Sah, the present Principal.
