Kendriya Vidyalaya Gangtok, one of its kind was established in the year 1976 in Deorali. Since its inception it has been setting standards dedicating itself for the cause of nation building through education year after year. It is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi and aims to develop the spirit of national integration and create a sense of "Indianness" among children.
 


Admissions:
Admission is done according to the availability of seats. The registration/enquiry form duly filled in, should be returned to the administration office. The registration does not guarantee admission. 
 
Admissions are made strictly on the basis of the performance. The management reserves the right to admit or reject any application for the admission without giving any reason.

The school campus accommodated in two blocks for primary sections, one block for secondary, senior secondary classes, well equipped Physics, Chemistry, Biology Labs with cozy infrastructure presents inspiring environment for effective teaching-learning process.
