Kendriya Vidyalaya, Maithon Dam came into existence in th year 1985 under the sponsorship of Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC). The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan envisaged it as a great center of learning for the children of the employees of DVC, Maithon. The Vidyalaya comes under the jurisdiction of KVS, Regional office, Ranchi and is affiliated with CBSE Board. It offers education from I to XII institution.
 



Admissions:

Admissions take place only in KG classes.

If there are any possible vacancies in other classes it will be notified in the school office by the end of March every year.

Procedure for admissions starts in the month of February every year for the next following academic session.
