Kendriya Vidyalaya, ITBP Merthi is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi.

Admissions:
Registration of Admission enquiries for new Academic year begins from January.
Applications are issued between February and March for new admissions in the school office.

The Vidyalaya has well equipped and well maintain computer labs for secondary and 1 for primary with broad band network, Audio visual rooms with 3 LCD projectors, well equipped Library with latest additions, different well equipped Labs out of which are for Physics, Chemistry and Biology and remaining for Computers a make-shift Bio-tech lab.
