Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Mewat was established in the year 2002. It has a modern infrastructure and aims to serve in each district as focal point for improvement of quality of school education through sharing of experiences and facilities. Admission to Vidyalaya is made at the class VI level through open test conducted at District level by CBSE.
 


Admissions:
Admission to JawaharNavodayaVidyalaya is made through the all India level selection test called Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST).
 
Talented students are selected through this test conducted each year by CBSE and are given admission to VIth class in the school.
 
Seats are reserved for the children of rural areas. At least 75% of the seats of district are filled by candidates selected from rural areas and the remaining seats are filled from the district's urban areas.
