Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Khargone is fully residential and co-educational school covering classes VI to XII. Education in the Vidyalaya is free for all enrolled students including lodging, boarding, text books, uniforms etc. Established in the year 1988, it is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and seeks to promote and develop talented, bright and gifted children predominantly from rural areas who may otherwise be denied good educational opportunities.
 


Admissions:
Admissions in the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas take place on the basis of a Selection Test conducted by the CBSE. The test is called the JawaharNavodayaVidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) it is of non-verbal nature, class neutral and so designed to ensure that children from rural areas are able to compete without facing any disadvantages due to poor communication facilities in rural areas special care is taken to ensure that children from far flung rural areas get admission form free of cost without any problem.
 


Facilities:
The school campus houses a library, well equipped labs for physics, chemistry, biology, math, language and computer science, spacious classrooms with smart boards, multipurpose hall, infirmary, indoor games room and a playground.
