Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kendrapara is a school following the CBSE pattern. It has at present classes from Class VI to Class XII. School aims to impart quality education at reasonable cost to the boys and girls of all communities without any discrimination.

The Vidyalaya campus is spread over an area of 24 acres of land that has all infrastructure facilities like academic block, well-equipped laboratories and large library hall with more than 13000 books and references. A Computer Lab with Internet facility, Multimedia classroom, Maths Lab, Language Lab, SUPW and Music room, multipurpose hall, M. I. Room, dormitories for boys and girls, dining hall, staff quarters and play fields. It also has twin Kitchen-cum-Dining Halls serves the purpose of Mess.
