Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kanker is a co-educational residential school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. School is a part of the JNV group of schools run by NavodayaVidyalayaSamiti, New Delhi. Admissions:
Admission to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Neriamangalam is made through the all India level selection test called JawaharNavodayaVidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST).
 
Talented students are selected through this test conducted each year by CBSE and are given admission to VIth class in the school.
 
Seats are reserved for the children of rural areas. At least 75% of the seats of district are filled by candidates selected from rural areas and the remaining seats are filled from the district's urban areas.
