Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Dhamtari was established in 2004 and is a coeducational residential school affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) from class 6th to 12th. Admission here is on the basis of selection test conducted every year. The mission of the school is to devise, catalyse, support and sustain holistic activities and processes in order to improve access, quality and efficiency in the students.
 


Admissions:
Admission to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Neriamangalam is made through the all India level selection test called JawaharNavodayaVidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST).
 
Talented students are selected through this test conducted each year by CBSE and are given admission to VIth class in the school.
 
Seats are reserved for the children of rural areas. At least 75% of the seats of district are filled by candidates selected from rural areas and the remaining seats are filled from the district's urban areas.
 


Facilities:
Well-ventilated, spacious classrooms with latest equipment in its laboratories and an AV room are designed to meet the pedagogical needs of students. A vast playground with sufficient play material is available to make school a pleasurable experience for pupils.
