Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Bhiwani was established in August 1988 is a co-educational residential school, fully financed by the Govt. of India, through an autonomous organization, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS). The Vidyalaya is basically to encourage and promote talent, pre-dominantly from rural areas and weaker sections of the district and to provide them with quality modern education for their all-round development.
 


Admissions:
Admission in class VI in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas are made through National Level Competitive Examination conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education in the month of February, known as JNVST (JawaharNavodayaVidyalya Selection Test). The merit is prepared on the district basis.  Number of seats in class VI are 80 but it can be vary due to accommodation or any other reason.
 
Children are also being admitted against the vacant seats in class IX and in class XI through regional level examination and marks in the previous qualifying examination respectively.
