Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Barsoor was established in July 1993 with an objective to provide free education of highly quality to the talented students of the distinct, hailing from rural areas. Students are selected on a competitive selection test conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.
 


Admissions:
Selection Test for admission to class VI is held every year.  
 
Prospectus-cum-Application forms are made available at free of cost. 
 
JNV selection test for admission to class IX is held every year in the month of May. 
 
Application Form duly completed in all respect must reach the office of the Principal, JawaharNavodayaVidyalaya of the concerned district.
