Don Bosco School Liluah (DBL) is an all-boy, english medium school located in Liluah. It operates under the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations and takes students from the lower kindergarten through grade twelve. The school was established in the year 1937 and is run by the Salesians of Don Bosco (S.D.B.).
DBL received the Calcutta Telegraph School of the Year award for "commitment to all-round excellence" in 2007, 2010 and 2011.
Applications for admissions are accepted from students of all faiths. However, Christians are given preference. Christian students must produce a Baptism Certificate.
Parents are asked to fill in the Admission Form with the utmost accuracy. No subsequent changes will be permitted.
New candidates must be introduced personally to the Principal by the one who will be responsible for his conduct and payment of fees.
School houses classrooms as well as the school library; music room; 8 science and language laboratories; and an examination hall. The school auditorium seats 1500 people. The complex has a Reverse Osmosis Water Purification Unit and emergency power generator capable of running the entire school.
