D.A.V. Public School, Kurukshetra came into existence on 25 January 1987. At present it is a full-fledged Senior Secondary CBSE affiliated school with more than 3000 students on its rolls. The school is being run in two campuses. It aims to aims to bring the best of talents to teach, facilitate and guide young minds, to create a home-away-from-home environment and ensure adequate emotional and social care for all students.

Parents are advised to go through all the rules and regulations given in the Handbook of Information as well as on the website before applying for admission.
 
The Admission Schedule is supposed to be followed strictly. This also applies to old students seeking admission to the next class.
 
A child must complete the age of 2½ years for admission to Pre-Nursery and 3+ years for admission to Nursery as on 31 March of the admission year.
