D. A. V. Public School, Kotkhai, Shimlawas started in the year 1986 under the aegis of D.A.V. College Trust and Managing Committee. The school is affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi and provides educational facilities for the students ranging from junior kindergarten to class XII.
Admissions:
Students are ordinarily admitted at the beginning of the term in April.

Admission is granted, only against vacancy, on the basis of the performance in the written test-cum-interview at our School.
Student’s merit is the only consideration for granting admission to any child. However, Principal’s decision is final and binding on all the applicants.
