Given below are the details on Jammu University BEd Admission 2024-25 with its notification, eligibility criteria and requirements. The B.Ed course offered by Jammu University aims at understanding and inculcating the competencies and skills required for teachers at secondary level of study. The duration of this full time course is one academic year. Jammu University B.Ed Admission is open to all candidates who have completed their graduation in any stream with a minimum aggregate of 45 percent marks. Any person in employment or self-employment or engaged in a business or profession is not eligible for admission to the B.Ed. course in the Non-Government colleges. Selection of candidates for all seats in B.Ed course in each non-government affiliated college of education shall be made by the university.
DURATION OF THE COURSE
The course for the degree of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is a whole time/ full time Regular course extending over a period of two academic years having four semesters. Students pursing the said course shall be permitted to complete the programme within a maximum period of three years from the date of admission to the programme.
ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION:-
Admission shall be open to those candidates who have passed their Bachelor's Degree Examination (10+2+3 pattern) with 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) in the Faculties of Arts, Science, Social Sciences, Commerce or faculty of Music and Fine Arts from the University of Jammu or an examination of any other University recognized as equivalent thereto or Bachelor’s Degree examination of 4 year duration from a recognized University.
