SBI Special Executive Management exam is an entrance test conducted by State Bank of India Limited for SBI Special Management Executive Recruitment for the posts of
A) Special Management Executive (Banking)- MMGS III
B) Special Management Executive (Banking)- MMGS II
This online examination consists of an objective type test of 200 marks and a descriptive type test of 50 marks. Both these tests are conducted online. The aggregate marks obtained in objective and descriptive type tests will be arranged in descending order of merit. A maximum of three times the candidates for available number of vacancies will be selected for group discussion and interview. The final merit list will be prepared after aggregating converted marks of examination, group discussion and interview.
The qualifying marks in group discussion and interview will be as decided by the bank.
Eligibility for SBI Special Executive Management exam 2016:
A) Special Management Executive (Banking)- MMGS III:
Age: Candidates aged between 25 and 40 years of age are eligible to apply.
Educational qualification:
CA/ ICWA/ ACS MBA/ MMS/ PGDBA/ PGPM/ PGDM
Minimum 60 percent marks in both graduation
A public sector/ listed Financial MBA/ MMS/ PGDBA/ PGPM/ PGDM (In case of Institution/ company. CA/ ICWA/ ACS, passing the respective examination is sufficient.
Post qualification experience:
Minimum five years of post qualification experience as an executive in Supervisory/ Management role in:
a) A schedule Commercial Bank/ Associate or subsidiary of a Schedule Commercial Bank OR
b) A public sector/ listed Financial Institution/ company.
B) Special Management Executive (Banking)- MMGS II:
Age: Candidates aged between 25 and 35 years are eligible to apply.
Educational qualification:
CA/ ICWA/ ACS MBA/ MMS/ PGDBA/ PGPM/ PGDM
Minimum 60% marks in both, Graduation
A public sector/ listed Financial MBA/ MMS/ PGDBA/ PGPM/ PGDM (In case of Institution/ company. CA/ ICWA/ ACS, passing the respective examination is sufficient).
Post qualification experience:
Minimum three years of post qualification experience as an executive in Supervisory/ Management role in:
a) A schedule Commercial Bank/ Associate or subsidiary of a Schedule Commercial Bank OR
b) A public sector/ listed Financial Institution/ company.
Probation period for both the posts will be 1 year from date of joining. After completion of probation period successfully, the officers will be confirmed in respective grades and will be governed by extant specialist cadre placement and promotion policy.
Officers can opt for conversion to General Cadre after completion of five years including probation period.In case of conversion to General Cadre, the seniority of the officers in specialist cadre will be protected for all future promotion.

SBI Special Executive Management Exam 2016 Paper Pattern:
SBI Special Executive Management Online examination shall consists objective test for 200 marks and descriptive test for 50 marks. Both the tests will be online. Candidates will be required to answer their descriptive test also online.

Final Selection:
- Candidates will have to qualify both Phase-I and Phase-II seperately. Marks secured by candidate in the written test (out of 250 marks) will be converted to out of 75 and marks secured in Group Discussion & Interview (out of 50 marks) will be converted to out of 25.
- The final merit list after calculating aggregating converted marks of examination/group discussion and interview out of 100 marks for each category. Selection will be made from top merit ranked candidates in each category.
- The roll numbers of candidates who have qualified for Phase II and who have been finally selected will be made available on bank's website. Roll numbers of selected candidates will also be published in Employment News/ Rozgar Samachar.
