SBI Probationary Officers (POs) Recruitment 2022 -
Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment as Probationary Officers (POs) in State Bank of India. The selected candidates may be posted anywhere in India.
SBI PO 2022 Eligibility -
Not below 21 years and not above 30 years as on 01.04.2022 i.e. candidates must have been born not later than 01.04.2001 and not earlier than 02.04.1992 (both days inclusive).
Age relaxation -
1. SC / ST - 5 Years
2. OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) - 3 Years
3. PwBD -
PwBD (SC/ ST) - 15 Years
PwBD (OBC) 13 Years
PwBD (Gen/ EWS) 10 Years
Essential Academic Qualifications (as on 31.12.2022) -
Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government. Those who are in the Final Year/ Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31.12.2022.

SBI PO Exam 2022 Date:-
Phase I: Online Preliminary Examination - 17th/18th/19th/ 20th of December 2022
Phase II: Online Main Examination - January 2023 / February 2023.
SBI PO 2022 Exam Pattern:-
Phase-I: Preliminary Examination -
Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Test for 100 marks will be conducted online.
SL. Name of test - No. of Questions - Duration -
1. English Language - 30 Qs - 20 minutes
2. Quantitative Aptitude - 35 Qs - 20 minutes
3. Reasoning Ability - 35 Qs - 20 minutes
Total - 100 Qs - 100 marks - 1 Hour
Selection criteria for Main Examination: Category wise merit list will be drawn on the basis of the aggregate marks scored in the Preliminary Examination. There will be no sectional cut-off. Candidates numbering 10 times (approx.) the numbers of vacancies in each category will be short listed for Main Examination from the top of above merit list.
Phase II: Main Examination -
Main Examination will be conducted online and will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks. The Descriptive Test will be administered immediately after conclusion of the Objective Test and candidates will have to type their Descriptive Test answers on the computer.
i) Objective Test - The duration of objective test is 3 hours, and it consists of 4 Sections of total 200 marks.

Total - 155 Qs - 200 marks - 3 hours
ii) Descriptive Paper -
English Language (Letter Writing & Essay) - 2 Qs - 50 marks 30 minutes
Penalty for Wrong Answers (Applicable to both - Preliminary & Main Examination) - There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, 1/4th of marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. if no answer is marked by candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.
Sectional Marks will not be maintained for both Preliminary & Main Examinations. Selection criteria for Phase-III: Category wise merit list will be drawn on the basis of the aggregate marks scored in Phase-II (Main Exam). There will be no sectional cut-off. Candidates numbering up to 3 times (approx.) of the category wise vacancies will be shortlisted for Phase-III from the top of the category wise merit list subject to a candidate scoring the minimum aggregate qualifying score, as decided by the Bank.
Phase III -
Psychometric Test -
The Bank may conduct Psychometric test for personality profiling, of those candidates who will be shortlisted for Phase-III. Finding of the test may be placed before the Interview panel for having a through perspective on the candidates. III Phase Comprise of:

Total - 50 marks
The minimum qualifying marks will be decided by the Bank.
Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Test for 100 marks will be conducted online.
