The SAAT 2023 i.e. known as Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University Admission Test is conducted every year by the Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University for the candidates who wish to pursue their career in the field of Engineering. The university provides various engineering courses in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University is located in Odisha. SAAT 2023 Exam Admission Process:-

Candidates who want to pursue engineering courses for the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes can participate in this exam. The admission process shall include the organising of a written test first which the candidates shall be required to pass in order to become eligible for the counselling process. Later on, the candidates passing the counselling rounds as well shall be selected and shall be required to submit their past educational records and admission fee to confirm their allotted seats.

SAAT 2017 Eligibility Criteria:-

For all the candidates who are planning to take part in the prestigious SAAT Exam, an important point to be remembered is the eligibility criteria of the examination. The eligibility criteria refer to the basic rules and conditions of the exam that the candidates need to satisfy in order to be eligible for taking the exam. These are necessarily set by the examination conducting authorities. Candidates must keep in mind that if, in any case, they are not satisfying the eligibility conditions of the SAAT Exam, they should NOT apply for the exam. Read the eligibility conditions below.

• The candidates must have passed the senior secondary examination of 12th class from a recognised board of secondary education with a total of 50% marks in aggregate.
• Candidates who possess a diploma degree with minimum 60% marks are also eligible for the SAAT Exam.
• The subjects that are compulsory for this examination are Physics and Mathematics.
• The candidate must be a citizen/resident of India only.

 

SAAT 2023 Counselling

The counselling for the SAAT 2023 Exam is expected to commence from the first week of June 2023. Candidates who shall be shortlisted on the basis of the result of the examination shall be called for the counselling process. The counselling process shall include the documents verification rounds and the allotment of seats on the basis of merit of the candidates.

SAAT 2023 Result

The result for the SAAT 2023 Exam shall be declared in the last week of May 2023. The result shall include the names of the candidates who have been shortlisted for the counselling round. Candidates who have passed the written examination phase shall be later called for counselling on the basis of the result. The results shall soon be uploaded on the official website of SAAT. The link shall soon be posted here when it is available.

SAAT 2023 Pattern:-

ONLINE -
 
Duration - 120 Minutes
 
Medium of Exam - English
 
Each correct answer fetches 4 marks. There is negative marking. 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
 
OFFLINE -
 
There will be multiple choice questions. The number of questions will be sixty (60) per each hour of examination. Each question shall have four probable answers with only one is correct answer; and the examinee shall have to blacken only the correct circle with HB pencil or black / blue ballpoint pen. Each correct answer shall carry four marks whereas each incorrect answer will lead to deduction of one mark. Each unanswered question will carry zero mark. If more than one circle is darkened for one question, it will be treated as an incorrect answer and one mark will be deducted.
 


SAAT 2023 Preparation Tips:-

Candidates who shall be participating in this exam must be looking for ways to prepare for the effectively. For the same, SAAT Exam Preparation tips have been provided below. Candidates can follow these tips to prepare for the exam and hence excel in the exam.

• Since it is one of the toughest exams and the number of questions asked is many, candidate must devote a minimum of 7-8 hours of self-study every day.
• Candidates must practice as many questions as they can in a day so that the concepts can be clarified.
• Candidates have to attempt a total of 120 questions in 3 hours. For this, candidates must definitely practice time management. This can be done by solving the online mock tests and offline papers. Candidates must keep a track of time while solving the paper.
• Since negative marking is applicable for SAAT Exam, candidates must never mark answers for any question in hustle. Candidates must only mark the answers for which they are very sure of.
