The advent of liberalization in India, without doubt has given a chance to many private financial firms to boost their economies. With lots of trade and investments policies, there has been a continuous growth in the private sector. But, handling all these financial practices have always been a complex act. Keeping this thing in mind, every private firms ranging from banks to insurance sectors, appoint Chartered Accountants or CAs. CA is the professional who are entrusted with trust and responsibility, acting as expertise responsible for various financial activities carried under the companies. To be a chartered accountant is considered to be a big achievement. It has a great scope, offering bright prospects in corporate world especially in Finance. 
 
Foundation Course -

i) Enrol for the Foundation Course after passing Class 10 th Examination conducted by an examining body constituted by law in India or an examination recognized by the Central Government as equivalent thereto.

(ii) Register for the Foundation Course on or before the 1 st day of January or the 1 st day of July for the examination to be held in the months of May/June or November/December respectively.

(ii) Appear in Foundation Examination after appearing in the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 examination) conducted by an examining body constituted by law in India or an examination recognised by the Central Government as equivalent thereto and on complying with (ii) above.

Intermediate Course -

Join Intermediate Course after passing class 12 th and Foundation Examination.

Undergo Four Weeks Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft skills (ICITSS) consisting of Courses on Information Technology and Orientation Course at the earliest but these are to be completed compulsorily before commencement of their articleship.

Appear in Intermediate Examination on completion of 8months of study course as on first day of the month in which the examination is to be held.

Join articled training after passing either of the Group or Both Groups of Intermediate Course and after successfully undergoing ICITSS.

Clear the balance Group (if any) of Intermediate Examination.

Register for Final Course.

Successfully undergo Four Weeks Advanced Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft skills (AICITSS) consisting of Courses on Advanced Information Technology and Management Communication Skills during the last two years of practical trainingbut before appearing in the Final Examination.

Appear in the Final Examination on completion of the practical training or whileserving last 6 months of articled training on or before the last day of the month preceding the month in which the examination is to be heldafter successful completion of AICITSS.

Complete articled training of 3 years.

Pass Final Examination.

Enrol as a member of the ICAI and be designated as “Chartered Accountant”.

Direct Entry -

Commerce Graduates/Post-Graduates (55%) or Other Graduates/Post-Graduates (60%):

Enrol with the Institute for Intermediate Course.

CA 2022 Paper Pattern:-


Candidate should keep one thing in mind that CA is a professional course hence success can only be achieved if practical approach is adopted. Mugging out thoroughly the whole night before the exam won’t work. Try to make a proper time table for your studies and ensure that you are implementing the time table. Make such a schedule for preparation that you can easily allocate 2-3 hrs to each subject. Subjects like Audit with Financial Management, Indirect Taxation with Accounts need more dedication.
