North Eastern Hill University is a NAAC "A" graded institution and one of the premier distance education providers in North East India. Conferred with the title "University with Potential for Excellence" this university offers undergraduate B.Ed course, post graduate professional diploma in special education and a foundation course of education on children with disabilities. Apart from this NEHU also provides a general and certificate course in floriculture and post graduate diploma in entrepreneurship. Admission is conducted twice a year for the calendar year and for the academic year.
