Panjab University School of Distance Learning is a full fledged USOL approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Distance Educational Council (New Delhi). One of the most respected institutes for distance education in northern India, Panjab University offers 28 undergraduate, post graduate, diploma and professional courses of study. The university is also known for its innovative and socially relevant programmes namely certificate course in Vivekanand Studies, diploma in Human Rights and Diploma in Naturopathy & Yoga. USOL's mode of instruction includes printed self study material, personal contact programmes, response sheet assignments, project & dissertations, audio and video lectures, counselling of students one to one basis and special lecture series. Admission is conducted twice a year for the academic year and calender year.
