    Burdwan University Distance Education offers Master of Science in Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System, which is two years full time post graduate course. Fees for this course is around Rs. 19,000/- per semester.
     

    Duration:- 2 years

    Eligibility:- Any B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. Honours in any subject including agriculture / B.A. Honours in any Geography / any Arts graduate (of 10+2+3 pattern) having Geography combination with at least 45% marks in Geography at degree level / one year PG Diploma in Remote Sensing & GIS from any recognised university or any institution recognised by the Government can get lateral entry to 2nd semester. However he / she has to appear all four semester examinations.
